Whether you want to ride our wake or simply do some touring, our friendly, highly experienced U.S. Coast Guard licensed drivers and instructors will make your experience on Big Blue undoubtedly a memorable one. All our drivers are also first aid and CPR certified.

Capt Gerald Scholl – Instructor / Owner
Gerald started Sierra Wave Addicts in 2008 in order to bring a water sport company to Lake Tahoe that truly offers an exceptional service and experience. He understands this because he has worked in the boating industry for over 27 years. He began working on overnight fishing boats in San Diego at the age of 15, earning his USCG 100 Ton Master Mariners License by the age of 22, and eventually moved to Lake Tahoe where he started a successful charter fishing business called Sierra Fin Addicts Guide Service - www.sierrafinaddicts.com. By spending much of his free time on Tahoe conquering wakesports it only made sense to want to share all his water experiences with others.

Capt Keaton Bowlby – Instructor
The newest and youngest addition to the fleet, Keaton Bowlby, is said to be a wakesports guru with a set of gills! He grew up boating the beautiful blue waters of Lake Tahoe where he discovered his passion for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, wakeskating, and jet skiing. Keaton has also toured as a professional "Wakeskater" and recently graduated from the Maritime Institute where he earned the ranking of a USCG 50 Ton Master Mariner. He now wants to share his vision, hospitality, and water sports skills with you and your friends and family.
